Looking up for the information provided by this Peruvian national organism, this time for this purpose I have selected or filtered only the forest extension in Perú among the National Parks, National Sactuaries, National Reserves, Comunal Reserves, Protected Forest, Areas of Regional Preservation and Areas of Private Preservation, as follows:
Data Source from SERNARP.
The total area (non considering some ohter small private parks from 97 to 105) is 18 708 029,5 Ha or 187 080.29 km². However according to Forest Resources Assessment 2015 - FAO, forests in Perú represent 57.8 % of the 1.285.215,60 km² territory land, which means aprox. 74 000 000 Ha. That questioned me if for this mentioned report I was considered other land apart from the Peruvian Amazon forests.
